I need help, the file is not opening

I am facing an issue with my file and need your help resolving it. While I was working on the file, it suddenly went blank. Since it froze, I had to force-close it. When I reopened the file, my recent work was missing and had not been saved. Could you please help me recover my work?

Layout Grids / Column Guides

I’d love to see built-in layout grid support, specifically column grids. For mobile wireframing I use a 4-column grid with 16px margins and 16px gutters (8-point grid system). Right now I have to mock this with locked rectangles, which is clunky. Even a simple column overlay like Figma’s (set column count, margin, and gutter) would make a huge difference for consistent spacing.

Need an iPad app

I absolutely love the product, and it would be truly amazing to be able to use it on the iPad natively (using the pencil).

Symbol Library and Snapping

I'm using Frame0 now for about two weeks - and it's great. Before that I was working with Balsamiq and PenPot. And Frame0 is the perfect mixture of these. In Balsamiq you can create project symbols, own (complex) shapes which can be used like other shapes on pages. I did the same in Frame0 with an own Shape Library. It works, but the big difference is that you can change the source of a symbol shape in Balsamiq and then it's updated on all it's usages. That means the usage of a symbol on a page is so long just a pointer to the main symbol until you break it off and change it on a page. Do I made that clear? In a shape library in Frame0 I cannot use links to pages in my main file. Can I connect the library to a main file to use links? In Balsamiq if you add or move a shape it offers automatically snap vertically or horizontally to the edge of other shapes. Is this feature already in Frame0 and did I miss it?

Selection tool

I would love to have a selection tool available. Because i use frame0 to edit screenshot from existing UI. I would love to be able to edit images by creating a selection and replacing them somewhere else on the canvas to create chuncks of images from 1 base image. At the moment I do this with MS Paint still (I am not a designer but a PO/developer interested in designing ideas) Example below of the selection tool in paint

Preset Component States (Balsamiq-Style)

Each component should offer ready-made configuration options in the menu bar instead of requiring manual customization of individual elements. Examples: Tab Bar: Select which tab is active (1, 2, 3...) Rating: Choose rating value (1-5 stars) with one clickd Progress Bar: Select percentage (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) This allows rapid prototyping without rebuilding component states from scratch.

Permanent menu bar on top like balsamiq

Its very convenient to drag and drop frequently used components from the top without having to make multiple clicks inside

Changing icons

If I add an icon somewhere in the wireframe, it would be great if I could change it to another icon with a few clicks. Now I have to remove the old icon and add another one - which is not a problem with simple structures. But when I want similar objects with different icons, it’s cumbersome to ungroup them, remove/add back icons one-by-one, then group them again.

Shape Comments

It would be nice to have the ability to have comments on every shape you insert. This way you could add additional information about the components for AI.

Refresh Button

When AI is changing the .f0 file directly .. it would be nice to have a refresh button instead of closing and opening

Toggle connector feature to reduce misclicks

Could you add a toggle option to turn off the new connector feature for all things, I am constantly wanting to drag or group select and end up creating a connector instead.

Ability to add custom AI provider

Rather than being limited to the fixed providers, it would be good if we could add our our providers that support the OpenAI or other standards. Name. e.g. PPQ URL. e.g. https://api/ppg/ai/v1 API Key. e.g. hkd93nHFkFm97622 Interface Standard. openai Model Name . gpt5.1-codex

Making the shape search work better with the select field

The search results should only show the items that belong to the component chosen in the select field.

Double click and control+click to enter group

I should be able to double click on a group to enter it then select the elements in that group. Pressing esc or clicking off should leave all groups. I should also be able to control+click to select an element in any number of groups and not the group. Essentially ignoring all groups.

Just like Figma, alt + WASD to align multiple selected items top, left, bottom, and right respectively.
